Special recruitment drive to fill up backlog

D.N.I.S. News Network, India: A special recruitment drive has been initiated to fill up backlog vacancies for the posts reserved for persons with disability. This was announced by Prithviraj Chavan, Minister of State for Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, at a function in Delhi recently.

It is about time government filled up posts lying vacant in various departments. So far, 3 percent reservation and the so-called incentive scheme, etc. have not brought any respite for persons with disabilities. They continue to struggle for employment opportunities.
