Union Government announces awards for websites having best accessibility features
D.N.I.S. News Network, India: Union Government has instituted three national awards to be given to websites having the best accessibility features for persons with disabilities. This was announced by Mukul Wasnik at the launch of his own ministry’s redesigned accessible website.
The awards will be given away on World Disability Day every year. The award will recognize one accessible website each from central and state governments, public sector and private sector.
